The Port Summer Show will celebrate its 45th anniversary this summer by presenting the jukebox musical with Elvis Presley tunes, All Shook Up. Among the 24 songs featured in the score are classics like "Heartbreak Hotel," "Love Me Tender," "Don't Be Cruel," "Can't Help Falling in Love," and "All Shook Up". This highly energetic rock and roll musical will be fun for the whole family.
Performances are August 3 - 5 at 7:30 pm, and Sun. August 6 at 2 pm in the newly renovated and air conditioned Paul D. Schreiber Auditorium at Schreiber High School.
Tickets are $10 adults, kids under 12 years old and seniors are $5. On Thurs. Aug 3, seniors are invited to attend for free!

Walking History Tours
Cow Neck Peninsula Historical Society will launch guided walking tours of Port Washington's historic Bay Walk shoreline! Join a knowledgeable tour guide walking the shoreline while you see and learn the fascinating history of early Port Washington.
The 90 minute walk will meet at the Town Dock's tugboat and end one mile later at the Port North Dock, opposite the Stop & Shop / Home Goods parking lot. Topics will include the livelihoods that helped Port develop into the town you know today, including shell fishing, sand mining, aviation, the yacht clubs, the tidal mills, the restaurants, the many hotels and much more.
Tours will be held every Sunday at 11 am and the first Saturday of every month at 11 am through October 31. Adults: $8, Seniors (65+): $5, Children (12 and under): $1 (in strollers or backpacks free) Reservations are required and group size is limited to 15. Please register at cowneck.org. Tour Execution Rocks and get a first hand view of this historic site! Guests must be able to climb a ladder from the boat on and off the island. No children under 12. Pack a lunch and wear appropriate clothing and sneakers (no skirts). Limited seating on the boat. Third Annual CreARTive 1-4 pm. The open house at Nassau County's Elderfields Preserve features FREE art-related activities such as tie dying, simple printmaking, painting, clay hand-building and more. The projects will be geared for ages 5 - 12, but all ages are invited to attend. CreARTive will take place inside Elderfields in the event of rain.
"Our art classes for kids are fun and educational," said Susan Herbst, Associate Executive Director. "Our teachers are amazing professionals who come up with creative projects every week all year long. We offer fun, reasonably priced art classes for students of all ages – from kindergarten through high school, as well as college and beyond."
